A deer lay dead stiff
on the roadside,
contorted
so that its head
almost touched
its tail

a pylon stuck firmly in
its otherwise glistening
fur coat, creating a suction
where none of its tragedy
could bleed onto the pavement

the creature passed through thick
green and stabbing brown,
stepped gingerly on cold grays
before trotting unknowingly

in the way of blurring silver
and glaring orange
that clashed with soft yellow
and innocent blacks

the owner of the car
that murdered the deer
briefly felt a tinge of sorrow
about being a murderer,
before fussing over the crack

Blood-spattered ghosts
Stained on the empty space
Just behind my eyes,
Color the world an
Uncomfortable tone of
Ochre

Silhouettes
Of my haunted,
Slaughtered life
Whisper gunshots in my ear.

A land that promises,
White snow
Not blemished by
The blood of their children,
And the sweet taste of sugar
On my ash-coated tongue

I came to a country
That didn't ask for me
Was I a welcome guest
Or an intruder

Left to itself my
Imagination
Antagonizes my
Memories.
A self-enclosed
Battlefield

My soul bears

esoteric

Rather comfortable in
asserting their great
intellectual virtue,
the group elaborately
contend that Plato
is no longer relevant

The room erupts with laughter
when one of them suggests
that Dr. Simon must think the rules of his
class are a
categorical
imperative

One of the group is even
so wonderfully clever
as to think her mind
the birthing place
for all that is.

I began a blog on gaming and the environment a few weeks back.

I really hope this takes off and goes somewhere... but I need readers for that to happen!

so I am shamelessly advertising myself using whatever medium I can find.

I also need help making a blog header graphic.

If anyone is interested at all give me a heads up.
